Perrywinkle Tree Photography was named after two of the most important people in my life — my dad and my son.
My dad, Perry, was the kind of man who made everyone around him feel joy, loved, and capable of anything. He taught me what hard work & determination looks like, kindness & compassion, and what it means to truly show up for the people you love. He was my hero, my role model, and my very best friend.
When I became a mom, I gave my son his Pawpaw Perry’s name so that a piece of him would always live on. Although they never got the chance to meet, I know without a doubt my dad would have adored him endlessly.
This business carries their name because they are the heart behind everything I do.
Every photo I take is rooted in the same love, connection, and memories that inspired this dream in the first place — because the people we love deserve to be remembered beautifully.
Meet Kandace & Richard Johnson.
From the very beginning, my aunt and uncle believed in my dream before it was ever even built. Through their love, encouragement, and generosity, they helped provide the equipment that allowed me to begin capturing life’s most meaningful moments.
My aunt has loved me like her own daughter since I was 9 years old, and my uncle has done the same since joining our little family. They shared an unbreakable friendship with my dad and are the most incredible grandparents to my son.
Their love and support are woven into every part of myself and this business.
